What makes a relationship successful?
- As always, put God first....it works
- define your relationship from day 1
- ensure you ask questions as regards wat he/she wants from the relationship
- Forget the baggages from your previous relationships
- get to know what works for you, i.e how often would you want to meet, call etc.
- honesty...it counts, you wont want to say A today and then B tomorow would you?
- if he/she is serious about you, meeting his folks or yours shouldnt be a problem you know?
- Just relax and enjoy it, stop being overtly curious or suspicious or too fast to pass judgement
- keep a tradition that works for you , sometimes stir the pot by deviating from it or them sometimes
- keep your mind open to learnin..
- lets always recognise the element of risk and make provision for it, i.e safe guard your heart untill you know for sure if the relationship has come to stay
Things you should know....
- discover who you are and what you want from a relationship and life in general
- Never stay in a relationship out of pity
- you wont need to be told you have met the right person, it will seem so right to you
- dont try to change who you are for a relationship
- Not all relationships are destined for the alter
- what works for A may not work for B
